From the Horse's mouth (Letter from Sellers)
Dear Future Homeowner(s) of 25 Ptarmigan Drive,
From our family to yours, welcome to a home that has been the heart of our lives for over a decade.
This house is more than just walls and a roof — it’s where we laughed, celebrated, dreamed, and simply lived. It’s where our children took their first steps, where we shared morning coffees in the sunlit dining room, and where each corner holds a memory we’ll always carry with us.
Here are just a few things we’ve loved most about this home and neighborhood:
• The Light: Though many favor east-facing homes, we found something incredibly special in our west-facing home with an east-facing backyard. Mornings were our favorite — the sun would pour into the dining and living rooms, warming the space with golden light. It was like the house itself was waking up with us.
• The Living Room: Spacious and full of possibility, it gave our children room to play while we cooked, space to sprawl out with LEGOs and puzzles, and offered us a comfortable place to unwind with warm conversations and peaceful nights.
• The Dining Area: Our table wasn’t just for meals. It hosted game nights, birthday cakes, deep conversations, and lingering chats with friends long after dinner was done.
• The Kitchen: With a roomy pantry and thoughtful storage, it served our family well — from weeknight dinners to weekend experiments. It’s a space that’s both functional and full of heart.
• The Master Suite: More than just a bedroom — it’s a retreat. We worked here during the pandemic, watched late-night shows, and ended each day with a moment of calm. The walk-in closet, dual vanities, and spacious bath brought both comfort and convenience.
• The Loft: One of our favorite features — it gave us the perfect balance of connection and privacy. While the kids played or studied on one side of the house, we found peaceful separation in the primary suite.
• The Finished Basement: Flexible and ready for anything — over the years it’s been a playroom, a gym, a movie den, and a quiet workspace. It’s a bonus space that always adapted to our needs.
• The Garage: Beyond a place for the car, it became a tucked-away corner for hobbies, tools, and projects — a true winter-time haven in Massachusetts.
• The Chandelier: This crystal chandelier welcomed us home every evening, catching the sunset and scattering rainbows along the stairs. It’s one of those little joys that made this house feel magical.
• The Bamboo Floors: Durable, elegant, and warm — they’ve added beauty and ease to our daily lives.
• The Neighborhood and Town: Shrewsbury has grown beautifully around us, yet it remains grounded in community and care. With top-rated schools, beloved parks like Dean Park, and every essential within easy reach — from shopping to dining to healthcare — this location has been a perfect fit for our family.
As we turn the page to a new chapter, our hearts are full. This home gave us joy, stability, and space to grow. Now, we hope it offers the same and more to you.
May your journey here be just as memorable.
Warmly,
Vamsi and Family
